💚 Detox Defense: Ways to Reduce Your Recurrence Rate - Thursday 5/8, 5pm

Join Dr. Roy Vongtama and Julie DelaBarre on Thursday 5/8 at 5pm PST as they lead a discussion on Detox Defense: Simple and Easy Life Swaps to Reduce Recurrence Rates. As a double certified physician in Radiation Oncology, Dr. Vongtama has worked with many patients on their cancer journey. In this chat he will highlight many of the science-backed recommendations for reducing your recurrence rate while also diving deep into necessary lifestyle changes to support your healing.

Dr. Roy Vongtama is a double Board Certified physician in Radiation Oncology and
Lifestyle Medicine. Getting his degrees from University of Pennsylvania, University at
Buffalo and then residency at UCLA, he began to see missing pieces in the paradigms of
his Western training. Dr. Vongtama’s interesting and varied background in meditation,
acting and emotional wellness helped him to create a dynamic healing paradigm that
combines the best of evidence-based medicine to benefit the entire body, mind, and
spirit, culminating with his current program, AntiCancerX. He currently works at UCLA
and also has published a book called, “Healing Before You’re Cured: An Evidence-based Guide to Taking Control of Your Body and Mind.”

Julie Delabarre is a clinical nutritionist with a holistic approach to health, specializing in cancer care, women’s health, and sports nutrition. With nearly 20 years of experience as a personal trainer and nutritionist in Santa Monica, and as a former Fitness Manager at Equinox, she blends movement, mindfulness, and evidence-based nutrition to guide her clients toward lasting wellness.

Julie is the author of, "Girl, Get Your Fit Together"—a lighthearted & soulful, science-based book, paired with an online program designed to help women navigate their health journeys with confidence and joy. She has successfully led multiple online groups focused on empowering women to reclaim their energy, strength, and vitality.

Having personally overcome body image struggles, chronic illness, and the impact of high stress, Julie understands that true health requires nourishing both the body and the mind. Through mindful nutrition and meditation practices, she helps women restore balance, resilience, and a sense of inner peace.
